Latest Recipes1 kg chicken thighs or breasts cut into bite size
0.5 kg red onion or 4 medium onions juliened
3 crushed garlic cloves
2 tbs ginger/garlic paste
1 ts coriander powder
0.5 ts cumin powder
1/4 kasoori methi
1 ts salt
2 ts cashmiri chilli powder
1/4 ts chilli powder
1 ts turmeric powder
oil 300 ml
2 tbs chopped green coriander
1 ts garam masala
.200 gm tomato puree
3 tbs yogurt
2 dry bay leaves
3 cm length cinnamon stick
3 green cardamoms barely crushed
3 cloves "kebsh 2renfol"
1 green chilli shopped
Marinade chicken with 1/2 ts turmeric and 1 ts cashmiri chilli powder at least 30 min.
Add bay leaves, cinnamon,cardamoms, cloves to the oil in a pot, heat till fragrant, add the crushed garlic, 2 min add the onion and fry till golden but not burned.
Add the remaining 1ts cashmiri chilli, turmeric and chilli powder, 1 min add the ginger/garlic paste, 2 min add the tomato and the green chilli, 1 min add coriander powder, cumin, kasoori methi and salt, cook for additional 5 min.
Add the chicken mix well then cover and simmer on low for 30 min, keep an eye on water and add 1/2 a cup if needed. Add the yogurt cover and simmer for additional 5 min, add garam masala, 3 min add the fresh coriander, 3 min and done.
