Latest Recipes1 large jar with top that can seal well
Netting used for oranges/vegetables
1 litres of vodka (any inexpensive brand will do)
1 cups of sugar
2 fresh oranges
Dissolve the sugar with the vodka in a bowl (no need to heat.)
Transfer to jar.
Suspend the oranges over the vodka "do not let touch" in the jar in the netting.
Seal the jar and label with date to open in 8 weeks.
No peeping or tasting!
The Cointreau becomes a light orange color and the taste of the orange magically transfers into the vodka.
Pour your Cointreau into a well sealed glass bottle and store in the fridge.
