Latest Recipes2 TBS butter + 1 Ts vegetable oil
1 medium yellow onion, finely diced
1 cup heavy cream
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
Salt to taste, calibrate AFTER you add the blue cheese
Saute onion with butter/oil till translucent, add Worcestershire, cream and cheese simmer gently while dissolving the cheese with a wooden spoon, when you get it to the right consistency add salt at the end while tasting.. be careful because the blue cheese is already salty itself.
