2 kg deveined peeled shrimp
2 cups rice
4 cups hot water
1.5 diced onion
6 chopped garlic cloves
1 bag frozen pees-diced carrots
1 TBS butter
1/2 green bell pepper
2 ts shrimp bouillion powder
1 cube fish stock
1/2 cube chicken stock
1 ts ground black pepper
2 ts turmeric
2 ts fennel seeds
1 ts cumin seeds
salt to taste
Soak rice in water for 20 min.
Saute shrimp, remove and set aside.
Drain rice 5 min before cooking.
Saute onion till light golden, add garlic till fragrent then add bell pepper , 1 min add the frozen vegies
after everything melts.
Add butter, shrimp, fish, chicken bouillion, black pepper, turmeric, fennel seeds, cumin seeds.
Add rice, saute 2 min with all ingredients.
Add water, get pot to a boil, close lid and put on the smallest burner with low heat for 20 min.
Close fire, let rice rest 10 min.
Open pot and fluff rice while adding the fried shrimp to it.
