• 1/4 cup butter
• 3 tablespoons flour
• 1 small white onion diced
• 3 cups chicken broth (3 cups hot water + 1 chicken cube + 2 ts knorr chicken bouillon granules)
• 2 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
• 4 cups frozen corn or 4 corn cobs
• 1 tablespoons sugar
• 1.5 teaspoons salt
• 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
• 3/4 cup heavy cream
• 3/4 cup milk
• 1/2 pound bacon cooked and crumbled (optional)
Melt butter, sauté onion after 6 min add the potatoes continue sauté like 10 min, don't brown them, add the corn sauté 5 more min.
Add the flour, mix and cook 2 min, add the water, bouillon cubes, milk, salt, sugar and pepper, cover and cook on low for 15 min or till the potatoes is cooked.
Add the cream continue simmer for 5 more min, (adjust thickness to your licking with hot water).
Sprinkle bacon on top as garnish.
