Indian Lamb Curry *****: Submitted by: Nick Zouein | Date Added: 16 Nov 2020 Ingredients:

1/2 cup cooking oil
2 medium onions diced
1.5 ts Ginger/Garlic paste
3 diced red tomatoes
1 ts salt
1 ts Turmeric powder
3/4 ts chili powder (depends on hotness)
1 ts Coriander powder
500g. Cubed mutton meat
1.5 cup water
1/2 ts Garam Masala
1/8 Fenugreek powder
2 TBS chopped fresh coriander

Cooking Instructions:

Heat oil, soften the onion then add ginger/garlic continue fry about 6 min then add tomatoes.
Soften tomatoes then add salt, turmeric, chili, coriander powder and 0.5 cup water and cook spices for 5 min.
Add meat and cook for 8 to 10 min., then add the 1 cup water and cover and simmer on medium low for 45 min. (if the meat is not cooked then add a little more water and cook further)
Add Garam masala, Fenugreek, chopped fresh coriander and simmer 3 min. then serve.
