500g. Cubed Lamb/Beef meat
1/4 cup cooking oil or olive oil
2 medium onions diced
1.5 ts Ginger/Garlic paste
3 diced red tomatoes or 1/2 can diced tomato
1 ts salt
1 ts Turmeric powder
1/4 ts chili powder (depends on hotness)
1 ts Kashmiri chilli powder
1 ts Coriander powder
1.5 cup water
1/4 cube beef magie
1/2 ts Garam Masala
1 ts Fenugreek leaves (methi) or 1/2 ts Fenugreek powder
2 TBS chopped fresh coriander (optional)
Boil meat in pressure cooker for (lamb: 1/2 hours, beef: 3/4 hour)
Heat oil, soften the onion then add ginger/garlic continue fry about 6 min then add tomatoes.
Soften tomatoes then add salt, turmeric, chilis, coriander powder, maggie and 0.5 cup water (from the pressure cooker) and cook spices for 5 min.
Add meat and cook for 8 to 10 min., then add the 1 cup water (from the pressure cooker) and cover and simmer on medium low for 30 min. (if the meat is not cooked then add a little more water and cook further).
Add Garam masala, Fenugreek, chopped fresh coriander and simmer 3 min. then serve.
