Hommus with Tahini

Ingredients for 4 persons:

Nick's Recipe:
1 cup dried chickpeas (soak in water overnight)
3/4 cup Tahini "Al-yaman" brand
2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup lemon juice
3 minced garlic cloves

Boil the chickpeas for 2 hours or until soft, let them cool then transfer to a blender, preserve some of the boiling water aside like 1/2 a cup.
Add all the other ingredients and process in blender until creamy soft, if the paste is too hard you can add some of the boiling water until satisfied with thickness.

Mark's Recipe:

1.3/4 teaspoon salt
54 grams lemon juice
3 minced garlic cloves

Add all the other ingredients and process in blender until creamy soft, if the paste is too hard you can add some of the boiling water until satisfied with thickness.

Garnich with olive oil, boiled chickpeas, red chili powder or parsley.
